The following links are provided as a service to our readers.
- We cannot vouch for the accuracy of most of the specific sites referenced, which indeed varies, nor influence their maintenance.
- Neither can we vouch for browser compatibility of foreign sites, of course.

As we have no arrangements with the operators of these sites, we will not be informed if they are changed, moved or discontinued. We would therefore appreciate a note from anyone who discovers a non-functioning link.
  • Bernadette Price has established the Celtic Cafe website, mailing lists, chatrooms and message boards, whose stated misson is to promote Irish dance, Celtic music, books, etc. It of course includes much LOTD-related information.

  • The Music Stop - Terry's collection of lyrics, in Irish and English, of the songs performed in Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames.

October 2004: Unfortunately, the link to the Music Stop has been out of function since before June 2002. A search for Terry's Music Stop via Google currently yields several hits, none of which leads to the original Music Stop. Thus it appears to be lost permanently.

For Siúil a rún, see the following version, put together by Anne Buckley for inclusion in Lord of the Dance.
There are garbled versions of Siúil a rún on many, many Web sites, and indeed on CD covers as well.
(Certain deviations are of course, common in connection with Irish tunes.)

    Siúil a rún

I wish I were on yonder hill
'Tis there I'd sit and cry my fill
Til every tear would turn a mill
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

        Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún
Siúil go socair agus siúil go ciúin
Siúil go doras agus éalaigh liom
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

I'll sell my rock, I'll sell my reel
I'll sell my only spinning wheel
To buy my love a sword of steel
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

        Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún
Siúil go socair agus siúil go ciúin
Siúil go doras agus éalaigh liom
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

I wish, I wish, I wish in vain
I wish I had my heart again
And vainly think I'd not complain
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

        Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún
Siúil go socair agus siúil go ciúin
Siúil go doras agus éalaigh liom
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

        Siúil, siúil, siúil a rún
Siúil go socair agus siúil go ciúin
Siúil go doras agus éalaigh liom
Is go dté tú mo mhuirnín slán

    The refrain means

    Come, come, come my love
    Come smoothly and quietly
Come to the door and escape with me
And may you go safely, my darling
